We Help INTENSE, Highly Intelligent, Ambitious Professionals Achieve Balance

Are you someone others look at in awe of all you can accomplish? Do you find yourself constantly three steps ahead of everyone else or always looking towards the next goal or plan for the future?

Maybe others are inspired by you, overwhelmed by you, or a combination of these reactions, leading to their inevitable confusion with how you are who you are. Sometimes they say you are “too much.” Other times you are their inspiration of the life they want to live. You are a natural-born leader. You may already be well aware of this, or perhaps you don’t realize it yet.

INTENSE. Ambitious. Successful. Intelligent. Hard-working. Analytical. Problem-Solver. Goal-Achiever.

If any of these words describe you, then you are in the right place.

You’re known for your daily grind, and have the respect and admiration of many. Perhaps you’re already in a position of high prestige and have a lot of pressure to keep up the image of having it all together. People count on you and expect you to show them the right way to be. BUT, you’re overwhelmed, confused, have lost some of your direction for the next step, or maybe are feeling a bit burned out or burdened by anxiety that just won’t go away. OR maybe your love life or other relationships are suffering as the price for your success. This is where I am here to help you.

Let’s take a look at how we can together set you up with the knowledge and strategies to live a life you LOVE living. This life can be beyond just surviving the grind, but a life of fulfillment, healthy companionship, and calm in the midst of cranking out your goals and visions for success.

I am a therapist who specializes in working with highly intense, analytical, and powerful individuals who may be stuck and needing additional support for themselves. Many of my clients are entrepreneurs, business executives, competitive athletes, performers, or other artists at the top of their trade. Each of them is highly intelligent and ambitious. They specifically are here to seek out how to level up their emotional health so that they can enjoy the intense, goal-focused life they want in a sustainable way. Does it mean I am CRAZY if I see a therapist?

This is sadly still a very prevalent, outdated, view. Thankfully, most people now know better. Science has shown us that mental health is affected by changes that take place in the brain and gut as a physical, as well as emotional experience. Sometimes negative changes in one’s neural pathways took place during early childhood, before anyone knew or could do anything about it! When we have experiences throughout our lives, our brain digs a highway across our brain creating schemas (frameworks) for interpreting the world and inputting information. Oftentimes when we encounter stress in our relationships, this stems from pathways that have been created since shortly after we were born, and some of those are not healthy.

Seeking help is a sign of strength, not a weakness. Many people live their entire lives with emotional brokenness that deeply affects themselves and others, without ever seeking professional help. This road is tempting for many people, but it is not the road taken by the brave. Those individuals with the greatest strength and courage are those who are willing to overcome their fear of facing their imperfections. They recognize that the benefits of bringing their imperfections into the light for reflection and repair far outweigh the costs of discomfort it may bring. Therapy is the opportunity for you to look yourself in the mirror while surrounded by empathy, compassion, hope, and positive support. [
